Pimlico Racing
Pimlico Race Course is located in Baltimore, Maryland and offers Thoroughbred horse racing from spring to fall each year. It is home of the Preakness Stakes, the second leg of the Triple Crown, after the Kentucky Derby. The Preakness is held on the third Sunday of May every year.
Pimlico opened on October 25, 1870. It is the second oldest racetrack in the nation, next to Saratoga in New York. Pimlico has hosted many famous race horses over the years, such as Man o' War, Sir Barton, Citation, California Chrome,Secretariat and Seabiscuit.
