I knew he was going to lose.  I just knew it.

It was one year ago that I was preparing for my very first trip to Saratoga.  I couldn’t be more excited to see a reigning Triple Crown winner race, at the most hallowed of racetracks, live and in person.  I was also keenly aware of Saratoga’s reputation for cutting down favorites and thought there was a decent change that the Graveyard of Champions would claim another.

And then I started handicapping the 2015 Travers Stakes…
